We founded MWF in 2012 with the simple goal of fulfilling a long-standing calling: to succeed through technological development and its application. Since then, we have built a team that shares this same drive within the work culture we have created together.

Today, our results are self-explanatory. We develop and manufacture devices and equipment that enable our clients and ourselves to build even greater things.

Timeline

Our journey

  1. Alexandre and Marcos start MWF.

  2. The company’s first product, created for deep waters as a germ of our unique multi-domain model-based engineering approach.

  3. Technology exports to the European market begin. Customers from The Netherlands, UK, Italy, and Belgium buy technology development inspired by what we delivered inside the FVSUB.

  4. Technology exports to the United States market; application of mechatronics and electronics in the development of medical devices for orthopedic surgery.

  5. Begins operating in the aeronautical market. Alexandre Lima and Felipe Campelo joined the partnership and made our delivery capabilities in electronics and software much stronger.

  6. Safety critical electronic controllers and in-house built Real-Time Operating System launched under our own brand.

  7. Split into two focused areas: Electronics and Mechatronics. Marcelo Carvalho and Rogério Menezes joined the mechatronics side of the partnership to enhance our mechatronics design and materialization capabilities.

  8. Implementation of a comprehensive program of permanent magnet motors and power electronics. This program allowed MWF to design and produce its own motors, generators, inverters, and power converters.

  9. Start of in-house motor production.

  10. MWF begins the process of revealing its brand.
